FIDE Women's World Chess Championship: 1/4 final G1 Report

8 participants of the Women's World Chess Championship played today the first games of the Round 4 (1/4 final)  game 1, in the Espinas Palace Hotel (Tehran, Iran).

The first match between 2 Chineses Queens: WGM Tan, Zhongyi VS GM Ju, Wenjun
the game finished with a draw. The match was very interesting game with very good play by Tan, Zhongyi but in the end the game finished with a draw.

The second match Between: Indian GM Harika, Dronavalli VS Georgian GM Dzagnidze, Nana
the game finished with white victories
Harika Dronavalli wins her first classical game in Tehran against Nana Dzagnidze!

The third match between: Ukranian GM Muzychuk, Anna VS Bulgaria GM Stefanova, Antoaneta
the game finished with white victories, the Ukranian GM Anna continues the amazing performance and maybe she will be the Champion of the World Championship if she continues this amazing performance.

The fourth match between: Chinese WGM Ni, Shiqun VS Russian GM Kosteniuk, Alexandra
the game finished with a draw, the super Chinese girl Ni, Shiqun achieved the draw when she played the Russian Queen Kosteniuk.



The second match of the round will be tomorrow at 11:30 GMT

Can Nana and Antoaneta back again or Harika and Anna advance to 1/2 final tomorrow?
